AMERICA RECYCLES DAY - NOVEMBER 15TH

America Recycles Day is celebrated year on November 15th.  This   year Keep Fremont Beautiful celebrated the National event by asking our citizens to sign "Recycling" pledges  with the promise that their pledge would be entered in a "Green" prize drawing.  We set a goal of 500 pledges and we did pretty good - a little more than 300 pledges were returned to Keep Fremont Beautiful.  Keep Fremont Beautiful volunteers handed out pledges to shoppers at Hy-Vee - we also included the pledge in our newsletter, school flyer and Tribune insert.  Local and area merchants donated great "Green" prizes for the drawing and we at Keep Fremont Beautiful appreciate their support.
