Master Electrician:

All Master electricians must be bonded and registered with the City of Fremont to be able to pull permits and work within the City of Fremont. The following criteria must be met to become registered:
Fee of $50.00; copy of State Master Electrician card or proof of CEU or passing the City of Fremont exam.
$10,000 license and permit bond naming the City of Fremont. The bond must show the individual and the company name (example: John Brown and JB Co.), jointly and severally. Bonds that read DBA will not be accepted. The bond must expire on December 31st. The licensing period is from Janaury 1st to December 31st. No registration will be issued until the original bond is received.
United States Citizenship Attestation Form completed

For all other electricians:
Journeyman:

Fee of $15.00; copy of State Journeyman Electrician card; proof of CEU; passing the City of Fremont exam
United States Citizenship Attestation Form completed

Apprentice:

Fee of $2.00; copy of State Apprentice Electrician card or application completed
United States Citizenship Attestation Form completed
