Dessert in the Stacks 2009 was held November 6, 2009. The highligh was story teller Rita Paskowitz and the presentation of the Faith Perry Service Award.

Rita Paskowitz combined her background as an actress, writer and stand-up comedienne into an exceptionally entertaining storytelling presentation. When the audience wasn't rolling with laughter they were participating right along with her!

This year's Faith Perry Service Award was presented to Janet Kletke. Janet is an enthusiastic volunteer and a charter member of the Friends of the Library. The award has been given to a friend of the library since 2002.
