Free Computer Workshop Conducted in Spanish on Saturdays
An introductory computer workshop will be offered in June by the Center for Rural Affairs' Rural Enterprise Assistance Project (REAP) Latino Business Center in partnership with the Keene Memorial Library.
The free workshop, Computer Basics, will be conducted in Spanish. Topics covered include how to operate a mouse, open and close files and programs, create an email address, use the internet and how to protect a computer against viruses. Sessions will start on June 18th, followed by June 25, and July 2, and July 9th, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
"This class will help business owners get more familiar with the use of a computer," commented Juan Sandoval, Center for Rural Affairs' REAP Latino Business Center Director. "One of our goals is to increase the use of computers within the business to help business owners with their record keeping."
