The City Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.  As Treasurer she is responsible for handling the day-to-day financial operations and serves as the Investment Officer.  The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for managing the official records of the City of Fremont.  This includes recording all proceedings of City Council meetings, serving as the legal custodian of official records, including but not limited to:
