  • Please allow 3 working days for completion of the FPD MV Accident Report. At that time it is available at Records on the 2nd floor of the police department. There is a $5.00 charge for reports that are picked up and a $6.00 charge for reports that are mailed or faxed.

  • There is a $5.00 charge for the application process. The application is available at Records 2nd Floor of the Police Department. You must be at least 21 years of age, a resident of the City of Fremont (within City limits), and provide photo ID. A State of Nebraska APPLICATION TO PURCHASE, LEASE, RENT, OR RECEIVE TRANSFER OF HANDGUN form must be completed. Allow approximately 3 working days for the permit to be issued.

  • At Records 2nd floor of the police department. There is a $15.00 charge for a criminal history check. The charge is $16.00 if the report is mailed or faxed. A CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD DISSEMINATION FORM will need to be completed at time of payment. This type of criminal history records check is for our jurisdiction only. NOTE: The criminal history record does not include juvenile records or traffic data. Only criminal history records with a court disposition can be released.

  • Fremont Police Department performs fingerprinting on Tuesdays by appointment only.  Please call 402-727-2664, extension 254, to schedule your appointment. 

    There is a $15.00 fee for the service.  The fee is to be paid on the 2nd floor - Records Department - at the time of fingerprinting.

  • Currently we accept credit card, cash or check, made payable to: City of Fremont. Payment must be received prior to release of reports/services.
