Notice is hereby given of a City Council vacancy in Ward 2 of the City of Fremont, Nebraska. The City Council has accepted the resignation of Jeff Kuhr at the February 22, 2011 City Council meeting. Pursuant to the Fremont Municipal Code, the Mayor will submit the name of a registered voter residing in Ward 2 to fill the unexpired term, until December 2012, to the City Council at the next regular Council meeting to be held March 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Persons interested in the position may deliver a letter of application or resume, by 4:00 p.m. March 4, 2011 directed to:
