An Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AIFHC) is being conducted for the City of Fremont. The goal of this Analysis will be identifying all major barriers and impediments to obtaining affordable, safe and decent housing in Fremont and to recommend necessary actions to alIeviate such impediments. The Analysis is scheduled to be completed early this summer.

The Analysis will also include a comprehensive citizen participation program, consisting of the implementation of two important Surveys and Community "Listening Sessions."

The surveys will include a "Fair Housing Choice Survey," to be completed by both local housing stakeholders and housing consumers, and a "Community Housing Survey".
