[ARCHIVED] Informational meeting set for Comprehensive Revitalization (CR) Program

The City of Fremont, in partnership with the Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District (NENEDD) is conducting a neighborhood needs assessment that will benefit a target area identified by the State of Nebraska Department of Economic Development. The target area can be viewed at www.nenedd.org.
Residents living in the target area are encouraged to complete a survey to help identify potential projects which may include: housing rehabilitation, homebuyer assistance program, water distribution and/or sanitary sewer system, street improvements, flood control, drainage improvements and redevelopment projects.
To access the survey, visit: www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013 FremontCR or www.fremontne.gov. The closing date to participate has been extended to March 1, 2013.
Paper copies will be available at the Fremont City Offices at 400 E. Military Avenue and the Keene Memorial Library located at 1030 N. Broad Street, Fremont, NE.
Two public meetings will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the City Council Chambers at 400 E. Military Avenue, Fremont, NE. The meetings will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend and learn more about the Comprehensive Revitalization (CR) program.
