The City of Fremont is once again participating in the Greener Nebraska Towns Initiative. This program is designed to improve the green infrastructure in the community and is funded by the Nebraska Environmental Trust and the Nebraska Forest Service. Participants in the program can have up to 3 trees planted at their residence.
