[ARCHIVED] Water Mains to be flushed the week of May 12

NOTICE TO FREMONT WATER USERS

The Water Department will be flushing water mains from Sunday, May 12, through Friday, May 17. Flushing will be restricted to the hours of 10:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to minimize inconvenience to customers. We will start in Inglewood and at First and Luther Road and progress north through the city ending up in Washington Heights and Sunset additions.


The following is the approximate flushing schedule:

Sunday, May 12 Inglewood north to 1st Street
Monday, May 13 1st to 9th Streets
Tuesday, May 14 9th to 16th Streets
Wednesday, May 15 16th to 23rd Streets
Thursday, May 16 23rd St. to northern service area

Please adjust your water use accordingly. You may want to consider shutting off your water softeners or underground sprinkler systems while your area is flushed. You may contact the Service Department at 727-2613 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday if you have any questions.
