The Fremont Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with Keep Fremont Beautiful, is offering a “FREE” Christmas Tree Recycling Collection Site. The collection for Christmas trees is located in the Lenihan Building Parking Lot between 9th and 10th Street on Broad across from the City Auditorium. Christmas trees may be dropped off any time through January 9th. Please remove all wire, stands, ornaments and plastic bags from trees.
The collected Christmas trees will be ground into chips and used as mulch in the park system.
