[ARCHIVED] Lifeguard Certification Class Offered


The Fremont Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the Fremont Family YMCA is sponsoring a Lifeguard Certification Classes. These are the final classes that will be offered for you to be eligible to work in the summer of 2014.

Students must be at least 15 years of age and attend all classes in one session to be eligible for certification.

Session II -- Friday, March 21 from 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, March 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 23 from noon to 4 p.m.

Session III -- Friday, April 11 from 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 13 from noon to 4 p.m.

Classes will be held at the Fremont Family YMCA. Cost of the class is $150.00 per student and there is a limit of 12 students per class.

To register for the class come to the second floor of the Municipal Building located at 400 E. Military or you can register on-line at http://www.activityreg.com/selectactivity.wcs.

CPR/AED renewal and Lifeguard renewal only are also offered during these sessions.
