[ARCHIVED] Street reconstruction to begin on West Military Road

On Monday, April 7, 2014, street reconstruction will begin on West Military Road, from Pierce Street to Ridge Road. Work will consist of removal and replacement of concrete roadway, construction of storm water system, and sidewalks through the project site.

During this construction work, traffic will be delayed or detoured around the ongoing reconstruction. Detour routes for light vehicles will be marked at the site. Truck routes will be established by routing truck traffic onto South Ridge Road and Ridgeland Avenue to Highway 77, and on Pierce and Broad Street to 23rd Street.

All questions and concerns about this project may be directed to the Director of Public Works, David Goedeken, at 402-727-2636.
