[ARCHIVED] Vote Online for Fremont Disaster Preparedness Project to Help Bring $25,000 Our Way!

. . . to the online voting phase. The top 40 causes earning the highest number of votes will receive a grant. You may vote for their cause up to 10 times per day EVERY DAY per email address beginning Wednesday, October 26 through Friday November 4.

Your votes will help them win $25,000 to teach people about disaster preparedness and increase community resiliency in Fremont. Winners will be announced November 30.

“Through community partnerships, we hope to offer programs, workshops, and resources on topics like weather hazards, emergency kits, family communication plans, and health information cards,” said Ashley Mueller, Extension educator. “Our whole-community approach to disaster preparedness is aimed to meet the needs of Fremont, engage and inspire a significant portion of our community, and make it a stronger, self-sustaining community. We need Fremont to rally around this cause and vote to bring the grant our way.”
