[ARCHIVED] Water Main Flushing

The Water Department will begin flushing water mains Sunday, May 7 and anticipate finishing up the morning of Friday May 12. Flushing will be restricted to the hours of 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. to minimize inconvenience to customers. They will start in Inglewood and progress north through the city ending up in Washington Heights and Sunset additions.

The following is the approximate flushing schedule:

Sunday, May 7 Inglewood north to 1st Street

Monday, May 8 1st to 9th Streets

Tuesday, May 9 9th to 16th Streets

Wednesday, May 10 16th to 23rd Streets

Thursday, May 11 23rd St. to Hwy 275 Bypass

Please adjust your water use accordingly. You may want to consider shutting off your water softeners or underground sprinkler systems while your area is flushed. You may contact the Service Department at 727-2613 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday if you have any questions.
