Fremont, Nebraska – Beginning Monday, December 8th, 2025, the Fremont Department of Utilities will be replacing utility poles along the south side of East Cloverly Road. This work will require a full road closure for a two-day period, weather permitting, at the west side of intersection of East Cloverly Road and South Platte Avenue.
Detour Information:
• Westbound Traffic: Detour north on South Platte Avenue to East Factory Street, then south on Union Street.
• Eastbound Traffic: Detour north on South Union Street to East Factory Street, then south on South Platte Avenue.
The full road closure is expected to last only two days, depending on weather conditions. Following the full closure, there will be partial lane and road closures throughout the remainder of the
week, with flaggers directing traffic as needed. The Fremont Department of Utilities appreciates your patience and understanding as we complete these necessary replacements.
